Bell times

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.

Students may arrive from 8:30am, when morning play begins under staff supervision. This is a relaxed and social start to the day, giving students time to settle and connect with peers before learning begins.

The school day officially starts at 9:00am, with students moving to their classrooms at 9:20am ready for morning routines and learning.

It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.

Throughout the day, students participate in regular brain and movement breaks to support focus, regulation, and wellbeing. They also enjoy Crunch & Sip, where they refuel with fruit or vegetables and a drink of water to keep their minds and bodies ready for learning

School finishes at 2:30pm. Students are collected from the Norton Road gate (via the Twin Road entry), where staff supervise dismissal to ensure every child leaves safely.

Regular attendance helps students build confidence, feel connected, and get the most from their learning at Arndell.
